GUEST POST: Spring/Summer Nail Polishes

A big hello to everyone who follows Hannah's blog, I'm here today to do a little guest post telling you all about some of my favourite Spring/Summer nail polishes. I'm Shona, a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger from Hertfordshire, I'll leave my link for you all at the end of the post!

I don't tend to stick to the rule of wearing lighter and brighter colours in Spring/Summer and darker colours in Autumn/Winter, except when it comes to nail polish. I love the colours that are 'in' during Summer, blues and pinks and greens and oranges. Wearing bright nail polish always lifts my mood as well so pairing that with a bit of sunshine makes for a very happy Shona!

Blue is my go to Spring/Summer nail polish colour, I love anything from a baby blue to an electric blue! Both of these nail polishes are favourites of mine from last year and I can't wait to start wearing them again this year. The Bourjois one is a stunning blue, it's really bright which I love. I really like the brush on this as well, it's quite wide and it makes application really easy and quick. The Miss Sporty one is a beautiful bold blue,  it unfortunately doesn't have a name but it would be pretty easy to spot in Boots. It's also a dupe for Bourjois' So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Polish in Blue Fabluex, I prefer the Miss Sporty one as well! For only £1.99 it goes on so well and with a good top coat it can last about 5 days without chipping.

Last year I became obsessed with this Revlon creamy orange nail polish. Orange isn't a colour that I'm drawn to that often but this is such a pretty nail polish. The formula isn't amazing but I can see past that because of the shade. Its perfect for if you want a pop of colour on your nails but don't want something really bright. Or if you want something even more toned down I love this pink Sinful Colours nail polish. It isn't bright or bold, it's just really classic and simple, perfect for a meal out I think. I like pairing this with a glitter top coat as well to give it a little more sparkle. Finally I've picked a classic Spring shade, mint green. I've recently been loving mint green and this MUA nail polish is a bargain at only £1. It doesn't have a perfect formula or brush but for the price it's fab.

I'd love to know what nail polishes you love wearing in Spring/Summer!
