Last month when I did a swap with Rosina, I was so excited when I saw she had sent me this. The UK great lash mascara is awful and the wand is completely different to this one. BeautyBaby44 says this is her favourite drugstore mascara and I completely understand why, Rosina also loves it too so even before I had tried it and she had told me she loved it, I knew I was going to love it too. The only downside to this mascara is that you can't get your hands on it here in the UK, they have a couple on eBay so I might repurchase from there but Ro has already said she will send me another when we do another swap in a couple of months!
The wand is not like any other mascara wand I have tried, it does start off large and then thin down but its actually more of a ball at the top and then thins out into a point. I use the small end first to catch all of the lashes, especially the inner and outer ones as they can be a bit of a pain to get with a large wand. Then I use the bigger part of the second coat and it works like a dream. The wand is quite short when compared to other mascaras but I actually like that because I can get right in there at the lash line to great my lashes to look as long as possible.
The formula is lovely, not too dry and not too wet. This one is the very black version and it really is an intense black which I love, there is nothing worse than a grey toned mascara! When I was applying this I didn't end up with mascara all over my skin which is a bonus. The colour intensity didn't fade without the day and the mascara doesn't transfer onto the eye lids or my under eye area by the end of the day like some of my mascara's do.

As you can see from the before and after picture, my lashes are super long! This almost every other mascara I have a problem of making my outer lashes the same length as the rest of my lashes but with this mascara they look so long and lovely. It defiantly looks like the me that I have more lashes than I actually do.
I am completely in love with this mascara and it really was love at first application. With some mascaras it takes me a while to get used to them but not with this baby. I will be very sad the day this runs out and will properly turn to eBay to track one down.
This mascara retails for $5.79 in the States and I have seen it for around the £5 mark on eBay.
