Review: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are one of those beauty products that everybody thinks of when you think of the brand and everybody wants to try them. I don't think I have ever heard a bad review of these and having tried them I completely understand why. I have the shades, Lavender and French Fries. These pencils retail for £5 each are are properly the best £10 spent on a beauty product so far and here is why I love them..

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil
The packaging is so simple but I love it, I just want to buy another ten so I can have them sitting on display in a little cute cup. With the lid being clear it makes it so much easier to find the colour you are looking for if you own quite a few which is great. Although the main part of the packing is white and you think It would get really dirty but its easy to clean off any excess product that might end up on it (I can't stand dirty looking make up).

The pencils themselves are one of the softest pencils I have ever tried. They apply so smoothly and blend so well and the pigmentation is amazing, you can defiantly build up the colour if you want a really intense look or sheer them out for day time. I love to use Lavender as an eye shadow base or as a wash of colour on my lids for when I'm in a rush. French Fries, I think is my favourite out of the two, I love to wear this on my lids when I'm going to be wearing darker eye shadows or as a liner just under my water line and I always love how it looks.

Swatches: Left is Lavender, Right is French Fries.

As you can see from the swatches, they are stunning colours and the pigmentation is great! Lavender is defiantly more of a milky colour with a hint of purple and French fries is a slightly metallic brown. To get that colour pay off, I only had to go up and down twice!

Whenever I use these they last all day until I remove my make up without fading or creasing on the lids. If you have always wanted to try these, I would defiantly recommend you picking up a shade or two.

I defiantly have a few more on my wishlist that I want to pick up. These retail for £5 each and you can purchase direct from the NYX Cosmetics website or Very.

Have you tried these before? What did you think?
