Review: Makeup Revolution Powder Blushes

Blushes are one of my favourite beauty items, you can really change the way your make up looks depending on what colour blush you choose I think. So when I was browsing the Makeup Revolution website and saw they had powder blushes for £1 each, I knew I had to pick a couple up and see what they are like. I chose the Shades Treat and Wow! and I am really loving them so far and here is why...

Makeup Revolution Powder Blush
I really like the packaging, it is really simple. I love the fact that the whole top of the packaging is see-through which makes it so much easier and quicker to find the shade you are looking for in the mornings when in a rush to get ready and be out the door. The packaging is also quite secure so if you pop this in your make up bag you don't have to worry that it is going to open itself and end up all over your other products.

The pigmentation is amazing so I would defiantly use a light hand with these. Treat is similar to MAC's Fun & Games blush from the Hello Kitty collection which is why I purchased it, although the MAC one has shimmer in and this one does not which I actually prefer. Wow! is defiantly a 'wow' shade, it is a stunning bright pink that looks slightly purplely and I love it for days when I go pretty simple with my eyes as I don't want too much going on.

Makeup Revolution Powder Blush Swatches
Swatched: Left is Wow! Right is Treat.

These blushes have great lasting power too and were defiantly still around when it comes to removing my make up at the end of the evening and I didn't notice any fading either. These apply really easily and blend really well if you go in too heavy handed like I did the first time. If you want a more intense look you can defiantly build up the colour.

I would defiantly recommend picking up a shade or two if you are planning on placing an order and for £1 each you can't really go wrong. You can purchase from the Makeup Revolution website or Superdrug online (Will be launching in stores soon).

Have you tried these blushes? What did you think?
