Review: Tanya Burr Lip Glosses

I know I am extremely late to the bandwagon on this one but I still wanted to review these! When I was in Superdrug last week, I was finally able to pick some up after months of them being out of stock. Although they didn't have the exact shades I wanted, I was still able to pick up two of them! I picked up the shades First Date and Smile, Dream, Sparkle.

Tanya Burr Lip Glosses
Smile, Dream, Sparkle is a darker pink with a lot of shimmer. On the lips it is defiantly a sheer lip gloss but would be perfect for layering over your favourite lipstick. As I have quite dark lips, this shade doesn't actually show up at all, it just adds a lovely gloss and shine. This one was the first one I tried out of the two, and I was actually quite disappointed that it didn't have better colour pay off as I had heard great things about these lip glosses but I still like it nonetheless.

First Date is a creamy baby pink with slight shimmer. This one is extremely pigmented which I love. The shimmer doesn't really show up on the lips which I like because I just wanted this one for the colour. You can defiantly get full colour pay off with out application with this one!

Swatches: Top is Smile, Dream, Sparkle, Bottom is First Date.

Both shades have great lasting power and stayed around for a good four hours even with eating and drinking. After that time they did start to fade but they didn't leave that horrible line around your lips like some products do. These smell incredible and the scent lingers on your lips too which I love. These lip glosses smell like fruitella which are my favourite sweets which is a bonus for me!

I would defiantly recommend First Date if you haven't already picked up one of the Tanya Burr lip glosses. These retail for £6.99 and are available on Feel Unique and Superdrug.

Have you tried these? What did you think?
