Summer Skin Essentials

With the warm weather being here in England, I defiantly need to take better care of my skin. In the warmer months I want to make sure my skin is protected without having to have layers of products on and make sure that it is in the best possible condition. These are the products that I have been using lately to take care of my skin...

Summer Skin Essentials
On those extremely hot days I like to use the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water* too cool my face and arms down. This product has quickly become a must have for me and I know during the hot summer days I am going to be thankful to have this to refresh my skin. You can spray this over the top of your make up too without it messing up your face which is a bonus.

I have quite oily skin anyway but during the summer months I really need something to keep it at bay and minimise my pores which is where the Porefessional from Benefit some in. Not only does this minimize the appears of my pores and lines it also slightly mattes the skin which is perfect for those no foundation days.

If I am wearing a foundation without any SPF my to go at the moment is the Bioderma Mattiflying Fluid with SPF 30. I have tons of samples of these, enough to last me the Summer and it really does a great job. I have being applying this before my foundation when I know I am going to be outside for long periods of time to make sure my skin doesn't get burnt.

If I am running really late I love to use the La Roche-Posay CC Cream*. Not only does this have SPF 30 it also has a great coverage so it defiantly saves me time getting ready in the morning. This product smells lovely too this makes application enjoyable and has enough coverage to cover up my redness and any blemishes I might have.

I have been that girl that always forgets to protect my lips when I'm in the sun and end up complaining about how painful they are for the few days after. The Maybelline Baby Lips in Hydrate has SPF 20 in so will help protect your lips from the sun but I am defiantly on the look out for a higher SPF lip balm.

The final product is defiantly a must have for everyone! I find feet to be disgusting and just generally hate them but there is nothing worse than dry feet. The Soap & Glory Heal Genius is amazing. I apply it at night all over my feet and then put on pair of socks and the next morning my feet are all nice and moisturised. Defiantly an essential as I have just started wearing sandals again!

What are your summer skin must haves?

  1. I've heard the pore-fessional product is really good so great to read your views on it. I love no foundation days too - Ginvera is really good for BB cream, I just wrote a post about it and I can't get enough!

I didn't get on so well with The Porefessional - but I might give it another go

  4. I have major oily skin and the summer sun is about to make it worse. I heard a lot of good reviews on the Porefessional by Benefit. However, not every Benefit product works for everyone plus it's quite pricey.
    Great post by the way!
