Autumn Nail Colours

I am in full Autumn/Winter mode. It may not be cold outside but I just want it so snow! If you follow me on Pinterest, you would have seen this by now!  I have been in cold weather mode since late August with my nails and have worn nothing but darker shades. I have found myself using the same shades over and over again so I thought I would share my favourites. When it comes to nail polish, I only really stick to three main brands - Essie, OPI and Barry M as they are my all time favourites.

Four out of six of these polishes were purchased from Fragrance Direct for under £3 - you can't beat their prices! First up we have the Barry M Matte Polish in Crush which is a lovely burgundy with a matte finish. Some matte polishes tend to chip quicker but I don't have that problem with this polish. If I'm not feeling the matte finish then I just apply a top coat and it looks lovely all glossy! I have a couple of the Matte Barry M's which I do really like all of them but this one has to be my favourite.

Essie polishes are probably my favourite polishes ever and I love them even better when I get them for £2.25 each from Fragrance Direct. Recently I picked up the shades Mind Your Mittens, Power Clutch and Vested Interest. Mind Your Mittens is a dark green, Power Clutch is a taupey brown and Invested Interest is light grey with little bit of green.  Mind your mittens is my favourite out of the three essies, darker green polishes are my favourites at the moment so if you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments!

OPI has been my go to polish brand since the Katy Perry collection came out in 2010. Lincoln Park After Dark is a loved shade but almost everyone. I love that from far away it looks black but up close its actually a deep purple. I know that OPI had another shade which I think is the same concept but red up close which I need to get my hands on. Nicole by OPI is the sister brand to OPI so when I saw these polishes on Fragrance Direct I thought I would give them a try. I picked up the shade No Limits which is like Lincoln Park After Dark but is blue up close which I love.

I have been using these shades quite a bit already and I know I will be using these a lot more over the colder months! I have my eyes on some more darker Essie shades if Fragrance Direct gets any in stock!

Have you tried any of these shades? What did you think of them?
