REVIEW: Yankee Candle Angel Wings Tart

If you saw my review of Candy Cane Lane from Yankee Candle, you would know how much of a disappointment it was. Because it was a new scent for this festive season, I had really high hopes. Included in the new Christmas collection this year was Angel Wings, Christmas Garland and Icicles. Angel Wings is the second scent from the new collection and I am very impressed! I picked the tart form again as I find them to be much better value for money and normally kick off much more scent than the jar candles.

Angel Wings is white in colour and smells beautiful. It is a heavy vanilla scent with sugar and sheer florals, to me it smells like vanilla sugar cookies which is amazing at any time of the year. I love this one, vanilla is my all time favourite scent so any time I find a candle with vanilla in, chances are I am going to fall in love. This is a very strong tart so I would only recommend you light this one for around an hour at a time because when I had it burning for longer than that I started to get a headache. The kick off is incredible, within minutes the room was filled with fragrance!

I definitely got my 8 hours of scent out of this tart. The scent kick off was still as good as the first burn which is incredible. I would really recommend giving this a sniff next time you are near yankee candles, specially if you like the sweet scents. This tart retails for £1.49 but if tarts aren't your thing it is also available in three jar sizes, votive and tea lights. This scent is limited edition so if it does sound like something you could like don't hang around, it's only available for this Christmas! I will have to repurchase this one soon!

Have you tried Angel Wings? What did you think of it?
