Keeping my skin hydrated during the colder months is a pretty hard task for me as I can never find the right product. I hate body lotions that leave your skin feeling sticky and oily which is what puts me off a lot of brands but I don't have any problems with these Body Sorbet Lotions* from Roger & Gallet. I have the scents Gingembre and Cedrat, both of which smell amazing, I need to get my hands on the other scents soon!
Each sorbet body lotion is 200ml in size and will last me for a while. Gingembre has notes of ginger flower, neroli, ambrette and benzoin balm. I honestly thought I wouldn't be a massive fan of this scent but I love it! This scent of body lotion is firming which is great to use on the legs and arms. Cedrat to me smells like lemon grass and is very refreshing. This body lotion is energising so would be perfect to use on those early mornings when you need a little something extra to wake yourself up! Both of these sorbet lotions aim to have 24 hours of hydration which is perfect. I really like that the bottle has a pump as it makes it so much easier to apply, I can just pump one pump onto each arm, rub in and I am good to go!
This sorbet lotions are worth every penny. They leave my skin feeling incredibly soft, hydrated and not sticky or greasy. They sink in quicker than any other lotion I have tried which makes it perfect to be used on a daily basis as I don't have to sit and wait around in the mornings for it to sink in, I can just get dressed straight away! My skin is left in a slightly satin finish which I love, with no residue. I have definitely noticed a difference in the hydration of my skin since using these. I have quite some dry skin around my knee's and elbows and have really noticed a difference. My favourite thing about these beauties is how long the scent lingers. I am not joking when I say 8 hours later the scent is still going strong. I find myself using these on a more frequent basis because of how long the scent lingers. I have never used a body lotion where the scent lingers for that long!
I would highly recommend these if you are in the market for a light winter body lotion. These retail for £14 each. If you could only pick up one scent I would say go for the Gingebre as it smells so good.
Have you tried these? What did you think of them?
