2014 Beauty Favourites

Can you believe it is the end of 2014! This year has flown by and I have had a pretty good year, seeing Katy Perry was definitely the high light of my year. I found it quite easy to pick my beauty favourites of the year because it is products I use everyday and I don't think I could ever be without them.

The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is a product that I can honestly say that every time I have applied my make up in 2014 I have used this brush. I got it last Christmas and I can't be without it now. It applies my foundation so flawlessly and easily. No matter what foundation I use with this brush, I get the same amazing coverage and flawless looking base. I cannot recommend this brush enough if you are looking for something new to apply your foundation with.

Benefit's Porefessional is a product I have wanted to try for years and when I got it back in February for my Birthday I couldn't wait to give it a try. I am almost out of my first tube and I need to repurchase soon before I run out because can't use anything else. I have quite big pores and lines and it used to really bother me until I started using this. I notice a massive improvement in how my make up looks when I use this and its as if I don't have any pores. My mum didn't think this product did anything until I used it on her one day and the next week she went out and brought her own, that is when you know its good stuff!

My mascara favourite of the year hands down has to be the Bourjois One Seconde Mascara. I got this in a beauty box back at the beginning of the Summer and didn't really take any notice of it. But having tried it out and loved it ever since I think I like it more than some high end mascaras. I did a whole review on this a little while ago if you want to see the effects it has on my lashes. If you are looking for a mascara that gives incredible length and thickness this one is for you.

This year I got the Real Techniques Core Collection and I have found myself using the Detailer Brush everyday since I unwrapped it which I think is most peoples least used brush from the collection. This brush is perfect for applying lip colours but I love it for applying dark shadows to my lower lash line or for inner corner highlight. It is good for getting colour packed on or for really detailed parts of your eye look.

The Swartzkopf Got2b Oil-licious Hair Oil is the best hair product I have ever used. I use three pumps for all of the ends of my hair. It keeps my hair feeling soft and hydrated. I notice whenever I don't use this that I hate my hair and it ends up a fizzy mess about two hours after I have blow-dried it and ends up in a topknot. I have tried other hair oils and nothing compares to this one, its on offer quite a lot in Tesco too which is a bonus.

Lip glosses have been a massive favourite for me this year and I now prefer them over lipsticks and my favourite one has to be the Bareminerals Gloss in Rebel. This lip gloss is the perfect everyday pink that goes with all eye looks which makes it easy for me because I don't have to worry. It makes my lips feel all minty which I am obsessed with. It also makes my lips look a little bit bigger which is a great perk.

Another lip product favourite has to be the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser. Whenever my lips are cracked or starting to feel dry I always apply this and it makes them feel so much better. My lips have been really flakey so far this winter had I had tried so many different lip balms to try and get them back to normal and this is the only thing that did the job!

My final favourite of 2014 has to be Benefit Gimme Brow. When it comes to brows I am not the best at them which is where this product comes in. It is so easy to use and really makes a massive difference in my brows. I have tiny brows which I hate but when I use this they look so much bigger! I have used this pretty much everyday since I got it in May and I really recommend this. Even if I am having a no make up day I always have this on!
