REVIEW: Blistex Intensive Moisturiser

During the winter months especially, my lips get so incredibly dry making them feel so uncomfortable and flakey which isn't the best look lets be honest. Having tried almost every lip balm and treatment under the sun, I have finally found one that works amazingly for my lips and gives me everything I need from a lip balm.
Blistex Intensive Moisturiser
This lip balm is incredible. Before I got my hands on this my lips were so painful and looked horrible. They were flaking off and very red but after a few applications of this they were back to normal! The packaging is very simple which I like, it comes in a little squeezable tube with a plastic applicator which makes it very easy to keep clean which is handy. I like that the packaging is squeezable as it means you can get all of the product out when you are starting to run low and won't waste any.

The product itself applies white to the lips which does look a little strange but after a couple of minutes it turns clear and makes the lips look very glossy which is great for wearing alone. It almost instantly makes the lips feel very minty and fresh which I love, any minty lip product is right up my street. As soon as it is applied my lips started to feel better. I tend to apply this throughout the day and before I go to bed to keep my lips soft because during the Winter they go a bit mental. Within a day or two on using this throughout the day they were back to normal. I had used about ten after balms in the weeks before I started using this and nothing made any improvement apart from this. I don't think I could ever be without this now and as I am getting close to the end of the tube I know I need to go and stock up on a few! I do feel as if my lips have become a little dependant on this as when I don't have it on they feel a little dehydrated but as soon as I reapply it they feel fine again.

I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you have very dry and cracked lips in the cold months. The Blistex Intensive Moisturiser retails for £2.63, I found mine in Tesco so keep an eye out whilst doing your food shopping.

Have you tried this? What did you think?
