Everyday Face #1

I have decided that I need to use up some of my make up collection before I purchase any more. Its my birthday in under a month so I have made it my mission to use up some of the lesser loved products so I can have a little splurge. I have actually found some products that I really love and I can't believe I have only just started using them, I feel quite bad having had them sitting in my collection!
Everyday Makeup

For my face/base I start off with the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, I use this to smooth out my face, I am not too sure if I love this enough to repurchase it yet but I will continue to use it and hopefully I will see some good results from using it. The concealer I have been loving recently is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, I finally gave in and purchased it. At first I wasn't too sure if I liked it so I went back to using a previous love and realised how much I do like the NARS one, I completely understand why everyone loves it so much now. For foundation I use the L'oreal True Match. I have been using this for months and I haven't found a better high street foundation yet. To set my foundation I have been using the Bourjois Poudre De Riz De Java (I think that is what it is called). This just helps keep my concealer in place and add some radiance.

For blush, bronzer and highlighter I have been using the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze and Brighten palette in Rave. This is the perfect palette for everyday and I love that I have all of the shades in one place. This is the perfect palette for all us pale girls as the shades aren't too dark. The palette comes with a high mirror inside and is sleek so it doesn't take up too much room in my make up bag.

For eyes and brows I have been using my Tarte palette, I use the shade Marvel at the Mona Lisa for my brows, to set my brows I have been loving Benefit Gimme Brow. I go in with Private Chateau (light matte shade) all of the lid and up to the brow. I then use Tea for Two (first shadow on the bottom row) to add a little bit of shadow to my lower lash line.I don't feel right without winged liner and the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner, I have found this to be the best black eyeliner that stays in place for most of the day. For over a year I have been using the Illamasqua Eyeliner in the White shade for my water line to brighten up my eyes and make them appear bigger. And finally to finish off my eyes I have been using the Covergirl Lash Blast Full Lash Bloom Mascara and so far so good, I will do a full review soon!

For lips I have been keeping it pretty simple with the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Rosewood Shimmer (06). I love how natural it looks and gives my lips such a pretty nude shade while being super glossy!

What has been your go to make up products lately?

  7. I've been hearing amazing things about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer recently! I've never tried NARS before but this and perhaps one of their blushers are definitely on my payday wishlist.
