Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

Trying to get my hair to stay smooth and not look greasy is one of my hardest problems when it comes to my hair. It is so long that I find many problems really weigh my hair down. Serums are one of my favourite products to use on my hair as I find they have the best results so I thought I would give the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum* a try.
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
This serum claims to smoothe, condition and seal the ends while adding shine, as well as leaving the hair frizz-free no matter what the weather. Now that is a hair serum that I need, having used far too much heat and changing the colour of my hair I am always looking for a product that will inject my hair with moisture while keeping my split ends smoothed. The packaging is very simple, it comes in a massive 150ml size so will last for ever, the bottle is plastic which makes it better for travelling. What I love about the packaging of this serum is that it has a pump, it makes it so much easier to get the right amount of product.

The serum has a lovely scent, I am not great at describing scents so I won't even try and attempted it. The scent does slightly linger in my hair for the first hour or so which I liked but I wish I stuck around for longer as I really do like it. I use just about a pump and a half for my hair, the directions say just one pump, and I would definitely recommend sticking to that. I tried to use two - three pumps like I do with my other serums the first time and it make my hair quite sticky and greasy looking. However with just over one pump used each time it was perfect. The serum made my hair so much softer and I noticed an increase in the shininess. It didn't weigh my hair down at all which I was slightly worried about. It really did help smooth down my split ends and keep the fizz at bay even when it was rainy and horrible outside which I was really impressed with.

I really do like this serum but it is a little on the expensive side at £23.95 however Hair Trade have it slightly discounted at £20.36. But for the price you do get a massive amount of product and it will definitely last me a good couple of months of daily use!

Have you tried this serum? What did you think?
