Brand Focus: Real Techniques

Make up brushes to me are something that will make your break your make up look. If you use the right tools, your going to get a flawless face and beautiful eye look. I am not one for spending a lot of money on brushes, although I have a couple of MAC brushes in my collection, nothing compares to the Real Techniques brushes and I think they will always be one of my favourite brush brands, if not my favourite. All of these brushes are ones that I would 100% recommend if you haven't tried them already.
Brand Focus: Real Techniques
Let's start with the face brushes, I'm sure I own almost all of them by now! For foundation I use either the Expert Face Brush or the Buffing Brush. Both gives high coverage without making the skin look cakey or over done. I don't know how I went so long without these brushes as I can't use anything else now! I prefer the buffing brush out of the two for foundation as I find I don't need to use a different brush to make sure it's all blended in nicely, with this brush alone I am good to go! For bronzer my go to brush is the Blush Brush. It picks up the perfect amount of powder and applies it so easily and not too heavy to my forehead and sides of my face. My next favourite face brush is the Powder Brush. This brush was actually my first Real Techniques purchase and I have loved it since the day I got it! I use this for powder to set my foundation and it picks up just the right amount of product and it applies it lightly. I have used this brush for bronzer as well and I really loved it for when I was looking extra pale and needed a pick me up. The Cheek Brush is perfect for blushes. It is small so you don't end up with pink all over the cheeks in places you don't want it and you can really build up the colour to the intensity you want it. This brush is pretty much fool proof because it is so tiny. You can really blend out the colour with this one too and it doesn't leave you with a strip of colour.

For concealer I am obsessed with the Deluxe Crease Brush and the Miracle Complexion Sponge. Even though the Deluxe Crease Brush is meant to be used for eye shadows I actually hate it for that but for concealer it is perfection. I actually saw Lucy and Lydia mention it in a video and thought I would give it a try and I have loved it ever since. I love it for under eye concealer and for on any blemishes and it just gives such a high coverage but blends it so well and it makes it look as if I don't have any make up on at all and that my skin is flawless (which really isn't the case). The Miracle Complexion Sponge is actually a product from Real Techniques I heard some pretty negative things about but I love it! Although I don't like it for foundation, I really enjoy it for blending out my concealer and for touch ups throughout the day. If my foundation starts to move around my face or cake up in places I just use this to make it look all good again.
