January 2015 Beauty Favourites

Can you believe January has already been and gone? Its gone by so quickly, although is one of my favourite months of the year as it is my birthday in 12 days! I am so excited but turning 21 does make me feel so old. This month all of my favourites are new loves and I have discovered this month, I can't believe it has taken me so long to try some of these because I don't think I can be without them now!
January 2015 Beauty Favourites

Over Christmas I picked up the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I had always wanted the beauty blender but it was too much money to spend in case I didn't like it. I am not a massive fan of this for foundation however, it is incredible for blending and applying concealer. I have been using this for my under eye concealer and it makes a massive difference. I also love to keep this in my handbag because my make up sometimes shifts and this just helps everything look smoothed out and covered again.

I have been really into using up some of my fragrances this month as I have far too many but for Christmas I got the Katy Perry Royal Revolution Perfume. I have used this pretty much everyday this month. The scent lasts forever on me or my clothes which is a massive bonus. The is such a me scent and I am a massive fan of Katy Perry and own all but one of her fragrances. The bottle is so cute too and is my favourite colour. I think you can get this in a gift set for around £10 which I think is a complete steal!

Another Real Techniques favourite this month is the Buffing Brush. When I first got this I didn't really have a use for it and it was unloved for quite a while. But when I started to see a lot of people using it for foundation I thought I would give it a try and I love it! It has replaced my love for the Expert Face Brush and I cannot be without it. It applies my foundation so well and gives me such a great coverage without making me look cakey or needed to be blended too much.

I picked up the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Bashful a few weeks ago and it has been on my lips so much. I honestly didn't think I was going to love it as much as I do! It has a lovely vanilla/mint taste and feel to the lips which I looove. And the colour is perfect for everyday and I always put this on of a morning when I am in a rush as I know it looks with any make up look and it is always in my handbag. I am definitely going to look at some other shades next time I am in Boots.

I finally did it. I purchased the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and I have been having a love affair with it. It really is an amazing concealer and I understand why everyone raves about it so much. It has incredible coverage for blemishes but I have really been enjoying it under my eyes. I have really bad dark circles and this concealer covers them almost completely. It really brightens up my under eye and makes me look so much more awake, perfect for those early mornings! I don't think I will be able to be without this concealer now!

Another NARS favourite this month as to be the Oasis Lip gloss. I managed to get this in the sale for about £7 and I am so glad to have it in my life. It is so glossy but not at all sticky which is one of the reasons why I love it so much. It is a slightly darker shade but I just love how it looks on my lips, even my little sister loves it and has stolen it a couple of times. I am going to need some more NARS lip glosses in my life soon.

The Makeup Revolution Radiant Light in Exhale has been used everyday for over a month now and I cannot get enough of it! It is the perfect highlight for my cheek bones and doesn't leave me looking like a disco ball. It leaves me looking so much more healthy and glowy, I cannot recommend these enough. There is also two other shades so there is bound to be one to suit your skin tone.

My final favourite this month has to be the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara. This mascara is honestly one of the best mascaras I have tried. It makes my lashes look incredibly long, so thick and black. It doesn't flake off towards the end of the day or leave black marks on my eye lids or under eye either.I didn't think I was going to love this mascara as much as I did and it has become one of my all time favourites.

What have been your favourites this month?
