Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 Palette

I have wanted the Lorac Pro Palette for the longest time but I could never justify how expensive it is when you try to get a hold of it from the UK and I wasn't sure how much I would use it. I was so excited when this palette popped through my letter box and I have already got so much use out of it and I know it is going to become a favourite.

Clearly this isn't the Lorac palette, its the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 Palette* and it is a beauty. Like all Makeup Revolution palettes I have in my collection they come in a lovely box which makes them feel a lot more expensive than what they actually are. The front of the palette is matte black which is different than the other palettes I believe as they normally have a gloss finish. Please excuse all of the finger print marks, I had already started playing with it before I took the photo's! On the inside of the palette is a huge mirror, 16 beautiful eye shadows complete with a double ended synthetic brush. All of the eyeshadows have shade names and they come on a clear insert.

The top row of shadows are all matte shades and the bottom row is all shimmer shades. I love both rows because you can create so many different eye looks with this palette. I have created some lovely simple everyday looks and a deep intense look perfect for the evening. As you can see from the swatches all of the shades are very well pigmented and the shimmer shades are incredibly pigmented which I am obsessed with. My current favourite shades from the palette are Ghost, Dawn, Breathe, Too Grey and Addicted. There is also a Iconic 2 palette which I am definitely going to order soon because the shades look incredible!

This palette retails for the bargain price of £6.99 which when you think there is 16 shades in the palette, it makes each eyeshadow around 43p and that is without the cost of the packaging and brush! Which an amazing deal right there! If you are looking for a palette which a mixture of mattes and shimmer shades with great pigmentation, this is the palette you need, especially if you are on a budget.
