I have been a massive fan of Covergirl mascaras for a couple of years, my favourite being the Lash Blast line. When I heard about Lash Blast Bloom, I thought it was worth giving a try, while my cousin was in America I had him pick me this up. I have had this since around Christmas so I have really put this mascara to the test.
I love the packaging, it is the same as the other lash blast mascaras but it is pink, who doesn't love pink! It has little flowers on the packaging to go along with the bloom theme. The wand of the mascara is plastic and very thin. The bristles are pretty short but there is a lot of them on the wand. The wand doesn't pick up too much of the mascara so it applies pretty evenly to the lashes.
I think this is the first Covergirl mascara I am not a fan off. It just doesn't do anything to my lashes in terms of length, volume or thickness. It is a very black mascara and does make the lashes look darker, as you can see on my lashes in the picture above. It does stay on the lashes for a very long time and doesn't melt off or flake on the skin around my eyes. I really don't like this mascara for my top lashes because it just doesn't do anything but for my bottom lashes it does a pretty decent job. I only recommend this if you want a mascara for your bottom lashes or if you don't like intense dramatic lashes like me.
This mascara retails for $7.99 in the states.
Have you tried this mascara? What did you think of it?
