Chanel Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid

On my birthday I decided to have a little splurge as I had a Boots giftcard and I decided to try the Chanel Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Foundation (worlds longest name), as I had been needing a new foundation with a higher coverage and longer wear so this one seemed perfect. After being colour matched by the lovely lady on the Chanel counter, I found that 12 Beige Rosé which is the lightest shade in this foundation is my perfect match.

In true Chanel style, the packaging is gorgeous. The foundation is housed in a gorgeous frosted glass bottle with a cap with the Chanel CC on the top which when removed reveals a pump! Thank you Chanel for having a pump on this foundation, there is nothing worse than trying to get foundation out of the bottle without a pump and I always end up wasting so much but not with this foundation! This foundation has quickly become my favourite which worries me as it is priced at £36, I am kind of wishing I didn't love it so much so I don't have to repurchase it!

This foundation leaves my skin with a beautiful matte finish and covers all of my blemishes and evens out my skin tone. This foundation has a lovely buildable high coverage, most days I only want a medium coverage so I will use a pump and a half for my whole face and for high coverage days I will use a little over two pumps which I apply with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. Even though this foundation does have pretty much full coverage, it feels so light weight on the skin and doesn't leave it looking cakey which is why I like it so much. It also has a lovely scent, very fresh which I wasn't expecting it to have but I do really love the scent. This foundation has amazing lasting power, I can apply this at 6 in the morning and it is still going strong at 5pm. I have worn this until the early hours of the morning and it is still there when it comes to taking off my makeup. The finish is matte but doesn't leave my face look flat or dull if that makes any sense!

This foundation retails for £36
