Bourjois Healthy Mix Duo

I am not sure why it has taken me so long to try the Bourjois Healthy Mix range but I am so glad that I finally have! Recently I was in the market for some new face products and saw that these were on for at Boots and managed to get them for free with my points! The main reason I was so excited to finally try these is because I had heard that they are amazing for us pale skin girls!
Bourjois Healthy Mix Duo
Lets start with the concealer. This concealer is only available in three shades and I accidentally picked up the middle shade and it has been a pretty good match for me surprisingly. This correcting concealer is oil free with a moisturising formula and is for radiance and anti-fatigue. I really do like this concealer, I apply it under my eyes and on any redness or blemishes I want to hide and it does an amazing job at both. Even applied under the eyes it doesn't leave them looking cakey or heavy yet it makes me look so much more awake, which is perfect for those early morning starts! For blemishes it has incredible coverage, I have a couple of massive break outs and it covers them so easily! I found this concealer has pretty good lasting power and throughout the day it doesn't really budge.

The Healthy Mix Foundation is massively raved about in the blogging world and I finally got my hands on a bottle. I ended up getting the lightest shade available and it is a perfect match for me - hooray finally! This foundation claims to have up to 16 hour wear and gives a healthy glow and flawless complexion. My skin looks so good when I wear this foundation. It gives the perfect amount of coverage and leaves my skin looking natural and as if I am not wearing any foundation which I love. It does give my skin a slight radiance to it which I love because normally I go for a complete matte finish. In terms of wear time, it doesn't hold up that great on my skin. I tend to only get around 6 hours wear out of it before I actually need to reapply it but I can get past that for how amazing it does leave my skin looking in that time.

The Healthy Mix Foundation retails for £9.99 and the Healthy Mix Concealer retails for £7.99.

  3. I really want to try this foundation because I've heard it's an excellent dupe for NARS Sheer Glow but I've also heard some people complain that it makes them break out so I'm a bit reluctant because I'm so prone to spots unfortunately.

  6. Will have to swatch this when I go into Boots next! Hopefully brands will make more pale foundations in the future as there is such a demand for it.
