May 2015 Beauty Favourites

This month I have really enjoyed beauty and trying out new products and rediscovering the ones in the back of my collection. A couple of my favourite this month are products that I can't believe I am only trying for the first time this month, seriously where have I been?! They are incredible and I am kicking myself for not trying them earlier!
May 2015 Beauty Favourites

My first favourite this month is the Zoella Blissful Mistful Body Mist. I have featured this product in a favourites post before and it is back again! I have really been enjoying this fragrance with the warmer weather finally making an appearance. I think this scent would be great for all year round but especially in the warmer months as it is a gorgeous fresh scent. I am pretty impressed with how long this scent does linger and when sprayed onto clothing you can still smell it the next day - love!

A bit of a random favourite this month is the Co-operative Fairtrade Baby Cotton Pads. I never thought I would have a preference over cotton pads but here I am. These are honestly some of the best cotton pads I have used and they are massive which is why I love them so much. I can remove all of my make up with just one of these pads, normally if I used the smaller round ones I would use around 5. These are really soft too and I have really enjoyed using them to remove my make up and will have to repurchase these soon.

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation has been used pretty much everyday this month and I have been loving it, I can't believe it has taken me this long to try it! It leave my skin looking so naturally flawless while giving the skin a slight radiance to it which I haven't found with any other foundation I have tried. Even though it has pretty good coverage it leaves my skin feeling so light weight. The only downside I have with this foundation is that it doesn't last that long on my skin but that doesn't bother me too much because it does give me such good results.

Another product I can't believe I am only trying now for the first time is Benefit Hoola. This bronzer is literally the best bronzer I have ever tried. I have had this Benefit Palette with Hoola in since before Christmas but I just never tried it until I saw a review on how it is great for pale skin. The next day I applied it and I haven't looked back. It leaves my skin looking bronzed without looking muddy. I cannot recommend this bronzer enough - I will be getting the full size when I run out.

My next favourite this month is another product I can't believe I am only trying this month for the first time, it is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I am a bit of a mascara junkie and can't seem to stop trying out new mascaras and this one has to be one of the best ones I have ever tried. I did a full review if you want to see a before and after - link. It makes my lashes look incredible and so long without making them clumpy.

Pretty much everyday for the past 6 years I have worn winged linger and I had been obsessed with the Soap and Glory Supercat Liner for the longest time but I have finally found one that is better than that. And it is the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner. I have got perfect liner every time I have used this and it is so pigmented! It has incredible lasting power too and I can get that perfect flick much easier with this liner than the Soap and Glory one.

As soon as I heard about the Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer I knew I wanted to give it a try and I have fallen in love with it. It is perfect for my under eye area, it brightens it up making me look more awake while covering my black circles. It is so lightweight and doesn't settle into any of the little lines I have and lasts pretty much all day! Very impressed with this concealer.

  3. Hi Hannah! I really loved reading this post :) I am going to definitely but the Zoella body mist, if it lasts that long it is totally worth it. Here in India we do not have most of these brands but Benefits recently opened up here so I will be visiting the shop although I have never used a bronzer in my life. Do you have a winged liner tutorial on your blog? If you don't could you consider doing one? That would be great. Anyway this blog was written really well! Will be definitely sticking around.

  17. I'm really up for trying drugstore foundations after being really impressed with Maybelline's FIT me, so Bourjois Healthy Mix will definitely be next on my list! Cotton pads are a huge part of my skin routine so will be on the lookout for those ones you recommended next time I'm at a Co-Op. Thanks for the recommendations!
