When the postman gave me this parcel this morning, I was so excited! I didn't actually plan on posting about it today but I was just so excited that I had to share all about it. I have mentioned quite a few times how much I love the Roger and Gallet Fleur de Figuier scent and I am so excited that they have released an eau de perfum! Massive thank you to Sarah and Maddie at Roger and Gallet PR, this is honestly one of the best parcels I have received, such a thoughtful thing to do!
Last week I received a letter from the lovely people over at Roger and Gallet, explaining that as not everyone can make it to events, that they were bringing the event to us! It was like christmas unboxing this, this morning. The box that it arrived in was gorgeous, I posted a picture on my instagram if you would like to see. When I lifted off the lid of the box I was met by a card from the PR team and a booklet on the new release, the Fleur de Figuier Eau de Parfum!
Inside the box was all things for a gorgeous evening at home which I thought was so thoughtful. We have a flower, tealight in a gorgeous holder a little sweet treat of a box of purple macaroons, a little size bottle of Moët and Chandon and the most gorgeous engraved glass with my initial on. Along with all of that was the newest release from Roger and Gallet, a 50ml size of the first ever eau de perfum from the brand in my favourite scent, Fleur de Figuier.
The Fleur de Figuier scent is made up of all amazing smelling elements from, violet wood, accord of fig pulp, musk, distilled patchouli fragrance, precious essence of mandarin, essence of pink peppercorn and condied fig accord. (Obviously I am not that amazing at describing scents as I looked it up). This scent is on the fruity side with musk and it smells very luxurious, ever since I first smelt this scent it has become my favourite and I am so happy Roger and Gallet have finally release a Eau de Parfum!
If you are in the London area from the 21st of May to the 23rd, Roger and Gallet are spreading happiness by gifting bunches of flowers opposite High Street Kensington Tube Station, #DistillingHappiness.
Another massive thank you to Maddie and Sarah for sending me this gorgeous package, those little sweet treats have already been eaten! I will have a full review up on the fragrance soon, once I have tested it out. But in the mean time if you are interested in purchasing it, 50ml retails for £40.50 and is available in Marks and Spencers nationwide and online here.
