Madame La La Light Tan

I have been on a serious fake tan kick recently and I don't feel right without my tan on. I have been really enjoying trying out different self tanning products and the Madame La La Tan in Light* sounded right up my street. Being extremely pale I was so happy to see that the company created a tan for us pale girls, with quite a few tans that I have tried them can be a bit too dark for me.
Madame La La Light Tan Review

Madame La La Light Tan On Skin
Top arm no tan applied, bottom is two pumps of tan applied.

The self tanning mousse with coco water and aloe claims to be a DD tan perfector, have an instant bronzing effect, give a streak free LA glow with natural fade properties and also claims to be a built in hydrator. All of those things combined sound like they could be my perfect tan and I love the idea of having a tan with a built in hydrator as my skin can be quite dry so having something that will add some hydration is great. This tan also claims to last for 10 days like you have spent two weeks on a beach - sounds amazing doesn't it!

The application was like a dream. The first thing that hit me when I was applying it was the scent. Oh my goodness it is like heaven! To me it smells like coconut and sun screen but I do have a rubbish sense of smell so I would be completely wrong. I was so happy to find that it didn't have that classic biscuit type smell and I didn't even get a hint of that smell - hooray! For each of my arms I used two pumps and for each of my legs I used around 4-5 to make sure that I covered them completely. Application was super easy and applied streak free and I didn't have any issues around my knuckles, knees or elbows. The mousse is tinted so it makes application even easier because you can see where you have missed and it instantly gives you a gorgeous glow. Once applied it only took a couple of minutes to dry before I could get dressed. This tan does take up to 10 hours to develop so it is recommended that you avoid getting wet in this time and I would 100% agree with that. The first time I applied the tan to my legs after about 2 hours of having it on, I went out into the garden to get the washing in and some how got water on the back of my leg and it streaked which was completely my fault so learn from my mistake!

Once applied the tan lasted for 6 days on me but I don't moisturise everyday, I am too lazy to remember, but if you was to moisturise everyday it will prolong your tan for the 10 days. It did fade very naturally on my arms and didn't leave behind any patchiness however on my legs because I have quite dry knees it did cling to my knees after the the tan had gone. As you can see from the before and after images above this tan is perfect for pale skin and will provide you with a sunkissed glow. They do have a regular version of this tan so if you are naturally any darker than me I would go for that one.

The Madame La La Tan Light retail for £36.
