REVIEW: Yankee Candle Strawberry Shortcake Tart

I have been really into using my Yankee Candle electric warmer again, I have ordered lots of new scents so more reviews will be coming soon. The Simply Home range is sold in supermarkets I have found, such a ASDA and Tesco and they always seem to have a great selection of wax tarts. I picked up a couple of these Strawberry Shortcake tarts, it smells delicious!
Yankee Candle Strawberry Shortcake Tart Review

The scent is described as being a summertime favourite with farm fresh strawberries and delicious shortcake. The scent very realistic and doesn't smell at all artificial which is why I always go for Yankee Candles. This scent is a very foody scent with a kind of fruitiness from the strawberries and I really do love it. It smells exactly the same when melting as it does in solid form too.

The scent kick off isn't that strong with this tart and I don't think I am going to get the full eight hours recommended burn time out of this tart which is pretty disappointing. I have burnt this two times and the first burn wasn't even that strong, it was a very subtle kick off which I don't mind but I would have preferred it to be a little bit stronger. The second time I burned it, I could hardly smell it unless I left the room and came back to it a couple of minutes later. I am pretty sure I have had this tart before though and did really enjoy it so maybe this tart just isn't as strong as the others I am not sure.

This Simply Home Strawberry Shortcake Tart retails between £1 and £1.20 depending on where you purchase from and is available in two jar sizes if tarts aren't your thing.
