Bourjois La Laque Nail Polish in Flambant Rose

When I saw these Bourjois Nail Polishes get released, the bottle really intrigued me I must admit so I was very excited to be a beauty product tester. I do think the packaging is good if you own them all because it would look fab sitting on a shelf. During the summer months, coral shades are pretty much always on my nails and if they aren't they are on my toes so this Bourjois La Laque Polish in Flambant Rose* looked perfect.

The bottle of the nail polish is a triangle which while it is unique, it isn't the easiest to hold while trying to apply the nail polish. I would have prefer to have a different lid to hold while applying the nail polish, like the Nails inc and Butter London polishes do. In each bottle of polish is 10ml of product which I think is pretty good for the price. Down one side of the bottle is Bourjois printed into the glass and on the other side of the bottle is a label with the shade shade name and some other small details about the product.

I have the shade Flambant Rose and it is a gorgeous red/coral with a tiny hint of pink to it. This would be perfect for the toes with a tan and I think it will be going on my toes next. I have had this on my nails a couple of times now and I do really love the shade. However, application wasn't how I would have liked it. The nail polish is very thick so it is quite difficult to not get it on the skin around your nails but the excess can always be washed off once the nails have dried. Once applied, it left my nails so glossy and I didn't need to use a top coat which was fab because I am pretty lazy so I was happy not to have to do another step. This polish is pretty pigmented so you could get away with just one coat on each nail but I like to apply two coats just to make sure there isn't any streaks.

The next morning after I had applied this polish, it started to chip but not massively, it was only noticeable if you looked at my nails really up close. Throughout the day my nails started to chip even more which I was so disappointed with. I do think if your going to pick up this nail polish I would recommend using a base and top coat to prolong the wear. This nail polish claims to be long lasting but that wasn't the case unfortunately on my nails.

The Bourjois La Laque Nail Polish in Flambant Rose retails for £6.49 - link.
