Everyday Summer Lips // Top 5 Products

I don't know about you but I need to have hydrating products on my lips during the Summer months. If I don't my lips get cracked and flakey which nobody wants. These five products not only give my lips a gorgeous hint of colour and shine/gloss but they also keep my lips hydrated through out the day. I have a mix of high end and high street products that I have been using on my lips and these five are my go to products for my lips.

Swatched: Tanya Burr Picnic in the Park, Bourjois Peach on the Beach, YSL Lip Oil in I Rose You, Benefit Lollibalm, Dior Lip Glow

I tend to keep it pretty pink during the summer days, as you can see from the swatches they are all quite similar. If I am going out in the evening I will normally go for a brighter lip but these five products are generally what I use on a daily basis. First we have Tanya Burr Picnic in the Park. Tanya Burr lip glosses are my favourite lip glosses ever, they smell and taste amazing and are very pigmented. Picnic in the Park is gorgeous pink which is slightly darker than the other shades in this post. I managed to pick this shade up for £1.99 on Fragrance Direct and I am pretty sure they have all of her other shades on there for that price as well which is amazing.

Bourjois Peach on the Beach is a still a pink shade but is also has an orange tint to it which makes it different than anything I have in my collection. These crayon lip products are my favourite type as they as super easy to apply and I can pretty much do so without a mirror. Peach on the Beach is very hydrating on the lips and gives the lips the perfect pop of colour for a summer day. Next up is the YSL Lip Oil in I Rose You. This one doesn't give the lips too much colour but it gives me lips such a lovely gloss to the lips and enhances my natural lip colour. This product is extremely hydrating and doesn't leave the lips feeling greasy as I expected.

The next two are balms but they still give the lips a little hint of colour. The first one is the Benefit Lollibalm. I am gutted I have just finished up my tube of this lip balm but I know I will have to repurchase it as soon as possible! This lip balm is one of the most hydrating ones in this post and still gives the lips a lovely colour. When paired with the Lollitint it looks gorgeous. Finally we have the Dior Lip Glow. I have featured this in many different posts because I do love it so much. The lip glow gives the lips a unique pink shade, kind of my lip but better, and gives a hint of gloss and hydration to the lips. This is expensive for a lip balm but if you ever want to splurge this is your product.
