August #BeautyJunkie Birchbox

I have never really been interested in any beauty boxes apart from You Beauty Discovery because I thought that they were too much money for what you actually get each month. But when I saw that Birchbox had an offer code for a free Beauty Blender for new subscribers I thought it was the perfect time to give Birchbox a try!

This months theme is #BeautyJunkie which includes two makeup products and a Rituals Body Scrub 70ml in 1 of 3 fragrances. The box this month is super cute and I will definitely be reusing it some how, the little beauty emojis are too cute! Also in this months box was a little sheet of beauty emoji stickers as a lifestyle item extra. I also got a Beauty Blender in my box (not pictured) as I was a new subscriber and they had brought back the offer, I am not sure if it is still available though!

In my box I got six items which I was happy with all of them which I was very surprised about as I was expecting to dislike at least one of them. The first item in my box is the Huygens Exfoliating Cream (full size worth £17.90). I love trying new exfoliators so this one will definitely be put too good use, it smells lovely too. The second item in my box is another exfoliator which is the Rituals Fortune Scrub (full size worth £10), this one smells incredible! I am not actually bothered about receiving two of the same type of product.

I love trying out new shampoos so I was happy to see the Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo (full size £13.95). This shampoo is designed to be used once or twice a month to give the hair a deep clean and remove any product build up. This is actually a pretty good size too so I will get a good few uses out of this sample. The product I was most excited to see in my box is theBalm Desert Bronzer (full size £15). I have always wanted to try theBalm products and this is the cutest thing I have ever seen! The final beauty product in my box this month is the Lord and Berry Blush in Lotus (full size £18). I love trying out new blush shades and this one looks lovely, I do need to get a little palette to put it in as it is just in a single pan form. The last product in my box this month is actually my favourite so far and it is the L. Erickson Hair Band (Full pack is £11.50). This actually one of the best hair brands I have ever used. I have very long and thick hair and this holds it all up perfectly without giving me a headache! Definitely need to pick up a pack of these. Overall I am very impressed with my first ever Birchbox and would definitely get another box in the future!
