Bright Pink Lips for Summer // Top Five

I have been obsessed with bright pink lips recently and I didn't quite realise how many bright pink lip products I have in my collection, but it's okay because they are *slightly* different! These are the five that I have found myself reaching for the most from my collection at the moment. I feel like bright lips compliment my pale skin and switch up my daily make up look.

Swatched: Revlon Coquette, Bell 07, Loreal Color Riche 134, Bobbi Brown Pop Pink, Bourjois Ole Flamingo

Even though all five of these lip picks are from the same shade family they are all completely different, which makes it totally acceptable to own them all, and more, am I right? I have a mixture of types of products as well as finishes, I didn't think I was a fan of matte lip finishes but clearly I hadn't noticed that I have actually been wearing matte shades and loving it, I think it is because they aren't drying like some matte products can be.

The first shade is the Revlon Color Burst Lacquer Balm in 110 Coquette. When these first came out I pretty much ordered all of the shades and this one is my favourite of them all. It is a gorgeous rosey pink which is slightly sheer which makes it perfect for the day time. These do have a lot of glitter in so if glitter isn't your thing you might want to avoid these but I personally don't mind the glitter. I love to use wear this if I am going to work or keeping my make up simple as even though it is a brighter pink it isn't too in your face.

This next one is my current favourite and it is the Bell HypoAllergenic Moisturising Lipstick in 07. I have never had anything from Bell before and this was an amazing introduction and I was so impressed from the first time I applied this. It is a gorgeous  creamy hot fuchsia and it sits so comfortably on the lips. I can apply this in the morning and now that it will not bleed outside the lines or fade quickly. I have quite pale skin and this compliments it perfectly. I highly recommend these lipsticks and I cannot wait to get my hands on some more shades soon.

The L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in 134 Rose Royale was purchased when there was a sale deal on these lipsticks and I ordered it without even looking at swatches, luckily for me I love this shade. This lipstick is a lot more purple than the others and I used this so much in June and July. This shade is very creamy and can hardly be felt on the lips. I find when I wear this I have to keep the rest of my make up very simple as this is pretty intense!

My high end pick is the Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Pop Pink 40. This is an almost matte shade but it is just as creamy as any other lipstick I have tried from the high end. I love wearing this lip colour with some winged liner and my hair in a ponytail. This lipstick lasts forever on my lips and I find if I am not going to be eating for a while then this will last pretty much all day! My final product is the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 05 Ole Flamingo. I must mention how disgusting these smell, its very chemically but I do love the product so I can get part the horrible scent. This applies so easily and doesn't bleed too much outside the lips. This shade is the darkest pink of all of the ones featured in this post and I love it. This is completely matte and is very long lasting. It isn't drying on the lips but it does stay slightly tacky on the lips but that doesn't really bother me. I find this shade makes my teeth look really white which is always a bonus!
