Autumn Lip Favourites

Doing my makeup during the Autumn/winter is my favourite. I love that my foundation isn't going to melt off and that I can wear dark and vampy lips without it looking a little bit strange during the Summer. These lip products are my favourites at the moment and are perfect for Autumn and while they are mainly dark purple/plums there is also a couple of pinks in there.

Swatched: Barry M Cor Balmy in Currant Bun Berry, Soap & Glory Pink Punch, Chanel Aura, Revlon Whimsical, NARS Oasis, Colourpop Tiger.

These six lip products are what I am currently rotating between using on a daily basis which is a mixature of high end and affordable options. The Barry M Cor Balmy in Currant Bun Berry was my absolute favourite last year and I wore it pretty much all winter. It is a lip balm so the colour pay off is sheer but that makes it perfect for everyday while keeping the lips hydrated. My newest addition is the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Pink Punch. The swatch above makes it look a lot pinker than it actually is, on my lips it is much deeper. These gloss sticks are incredibly glossy and very pigmented, I believe this is the deepest shade from the shade and it is my favourite. It lasts for a good few hours on the lips and when it does start to fade it doesn't leave that horrible line around my lips.

When I won the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Aura in a giveaway I was so excited. While the bullet is very dark as you can see from the swatch it is slightly sheer but it can definitely be built up for a more intense lip. This shade looks gorgeous with a simple eye look. Next up is the Revlon Lacquer Balm in Whimsical. This one is lightly pinker but still has that plumy tone to it. These do have a lot go glitter running through them so if you don't like glitter I would avoid these! The NARS Oasis Lipgloss works so well over so many different lipsticks and even on its own. While it doesn't have a crazy pigmentation it does add a lovely colour to my lips. This looks a lot darker on my lips than it does in the swatch above. My final Autumn lip favourite is from Colourpop and it is the Sheer Lippie Stix in Tiger. I have no idea why Colourpop calls these Sheer because they still have such good colour pay off! These have such a lovely scent - like cupcakes and lasts so well on the lips even with eating and drinking.
