My Current Foundation Stash

I thought it was time to do another 'Makeup Stash' post and this instalment is all about my foundations! I have a range of coverages as well as from the high street and the high end. I really like trying out new foundations as they really can make or break your make up. I have tried some really good foundations and some really terrible ones but luckily for me all but one of my foundations in my stash are winners!
My Current Foundation Stash
I have two different foundations from Bourjois, the 123 Perfect CC Cream and the Healthy Mix Foundation. The CC Cream I really do not get on with, I just can't get it to look good on the skin and it always ends up looking cakey on me. Everybody seems to love this product but I just can't get it to work. The Healthy Mix Foundation is one of my favourites. It has a gorgeous light to medium coverage and gives the skin a lovely glow. I love using this in good skin days, I also have the concealer from this line and really love it too.

For my higher end foundations I currently have two in my stash. On my birthday this year I treated myself to the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Flawless Fluid Foundation. This foundation has a lovely medium coverage and is very long lasting so if I know I am going to be out all day I always use this foundation. I have very pale skin and this foundation is a perfect match for me in 12 Beige Rosé. I try to only use this foundation on special occasions as it was very expensive! My second high end foundation is actually a BB Cream and it is the Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Glow BB. This stuff has incredible coverage and is very lightweight on the skin. I pretty much wore this all summer long as it has an SPF 30.

The final foundation in my current stash is actually the newest addition and is one of my holy grail products now. It is the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation. If you need a high coverage foundation that is going to cover everything - this is what you need. It has literally changed my makeup for the better. I have a lot of scarring from acne as well as current blemishes which can be difficult to cover but this foundation does it effortlessly. If you want to read more about this foundation and see before and after pictures of it on the skin you can link here - link

  4. Nice collection! I've been stuck on Makeup Forever HD foundation for the past year and a half, but I'm thinking of switching soon - they just changed the formula and I'm not sure how well it'll work for me. Might check out that Chanel one.

  5. Bourjois healthy mix and the CC cream are two of my favourites. A base I've been loving this year is Dior's BB cream. It's actually really similar to the Bourjois CC cream!
