Yankee Candle Christmas Scents 2015

I am such a big Yankee Candle fan and even more so at Christmas, I will admit that I actually start burning Yankee Candle Christmas scents from early September as they are my absolute favourites. This year there are four new scents for Christmas, Bundle Up, Winter Glow, Cosy by the Fire and Berry Trifle. There is definitely a scent for everyone with all four scents being completely different.

All four of the scents are available in three different jar sizes, tealights, Votive Sampler and Wax Tart. I personally prefer the wax tarts because I find them to have incredible scent kick off and it makes it much more affordable when you want to purchase all of the new scents. However I will be purchasing a jar size of one of these scents because it is one of my favourites already. Wax Tarts aim to give you eight hours of beautiful home fragrance and I find that with some scents you get even longer and at just £1.49 a tart it makes it great value for money.

Winter Glow is a scent that can definitely be used outside of the Christmas period
and is a fresh scent out of the four. It is described as a crisp scent of frosted leaves on snow covered trees out in the cool air which has been warmed by golden amber sun rays. I love scents like this for the mornings and this one would be a perfect winter time favourite. This is a gorgeous light crisp scent which I think everybody will like as it isn't spicy or sickly.

This next one isn't normally one I would like but I do really like this as it as a slight fruity element to it. Cosy by the Fire is described as a warm mix of ginger, clove and orange combined with the woody notes to give the snap of a crackling fire and the comfort of a hot aromatic drink beside it. This is a scent that reminds me of my Mum at Christmas as this is the type of scent she is always burning. I think this scent would be perfect to burn in a big open space as it would give the space a lovely warm feel and scent.

Berry Trifle is my favourite out of the four. I absolutely love fruity and foodie scents so this one is right up my street. Berry Trifle is described as a mouth watering mixture of fresh berries, tangy and sharp, nestled on a bed of soft vanilla cream. How delicious does this one sound?! I definitely smell both elements of this scent and this is one of my favourite scents this year and I will need to make sure I pick up a couple of back ups. Again this one isn't your typical Christmas scent, much like Winter Glow, but it is a great scent for Winter and I will still burn it around Christmas time.

Finally is Bundle Up. This is a more traditional Christmas scent in my opinion and I will definitely be burning this a lot throughout December. Bundle Up is described as a clean, wintry scent that brings you back to frosty days and cosy warm clothing. A touch of citrus adds the crispness of coll powdered snow to layers of fresh linen. To me this smells like clean cotton mixed with Christmas Garland or Frosted Spruce (a Simply Home Yankee Candle fragrance). This reminds me of snowy days so hopefully we will get some snow this year so I can burn it then!

All of the Christmas scents for 2015 range from £1.49 to £21.99 depending on what form you go for. Each of the four scents are available now from the Yankee Candle website - link.
