Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep Gel Balm

When it comes to skincare one of the brands that I always trust is Vichy. I have been a big fan of the Idéalia range and I was quiet excited to give the Skin Sleep Recovery Night Gel-Balm a try. I don't often get the full amount of sleep that I need and if I do it is often broken sleep so I very interested to see how this would benefit my skin.
Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep Gel Balm
The Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep Gel Balm is formulated to recreate the restorative effects of sleep. It's a night time treatment that aims to repair and regenerate dull skin overnight. It's perfect for those of us who suffer from poor sleep, lack of sleep and also desynchronised sleep. It is clinically proven to stimulate the skins deep sleep mechanisms so that it leaves the skin looking smoother. It works throughout the night to ensure that you wake up with a well-rested, fresh and radiant complexion even if you haven't had a great nights sleep. The gel balm is enriched with hyaluronic acid, caffeine and glycyrrhizic acid which are designed to recreate the look of a great nights sleep.

I absolutely love the packaging, it is one of those products that I like to leave out on display because the packaging is too pretty to hide away in a draw. The top of the jar has a mirror on which I really like because 9 times out of 10 I leave this on my bedside table and apply in bed so it is great to check I haven't missed any spots.

The product itself has a unique gel like texture which feels very lightweight on the skin and sinks in almost instantly. It has a really lovely scent too, very calming and because of this I find that it helps relax me before heading off to sleep. Since I have been using this every night I have definitely noticed that my skin looks better in the morning, always looking brighter and left feeling soft and smooth. Because I don't get a lot of sleep, I struggle to sleep through the night and I also have to be up at 5am every week day, my skin can look very tired but since using this I have noticed my skin has looked like I have had a great nights sleep! My skin tends to get quite dry at this time of year but I haven't had any dry patches, my skin has been so soft since using this.

The Vichy Idéalia Skin Sleep Gel Balm is paraben free and is suitable for all skin types. It is available from Boots, Escentual and the My Dermacenter website along with many other retailers and retails for £26.50 - link.
