Happy Christmas Eve!! I thought I would share the makeup I am using today as I have made a little more effort, with it being Christmas Eve and all. I have been loving the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette and have been using it everyday since it arrived so I knew I had to use it again today because I am actually obsessed with it. When it was first released I wasn't too fussed about it as I thought the shades weren't for me but I couldn't have been more wrong.
I started off applying my primer, the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot. This is the best primer on the high street and makes my makeup last all day. I then apply my foundation and concealer, the foundation I am using is the Chanel Perfection Lumiere and the concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection. To set my base I have been using the BareMinerals Mineral Veil, it leaves my base looking almost pore less, such a big fan of this because my pores really irritate me so I am glad to hide them away. I then take the lighter shade in the NARS Dual Intensity Blush in Fervor and apply it to my cheeks and then the Makeup Revolution Radiant Light in Exhale to my cheek bones. I always do my brows before I do my eye makeup and I have been using the Collection Brow Kit again and I love how it makes my brows look! I mix the two darker shades together to get my perfect shade.
For my eyeshadow I took the shade Dirtysweet into my inner half of the lid and Radar to the outer half to the lid, then take Whiskey into the crease. I finally take the shade thirteen from the Naked Smoky Palette to highlight the inner corner and brow bone. My makeup is never complete without winged liner and the best one I have ever used is the Collection Extreme 24hr Felt Tip Liner. If you haven't tried this already I cannot recommend it enough! For mascara I used the Maybelline Lash Sensational, this makes me lashes so intensely black and so long. To finish off my makeup I used Colourpop Tiger on the lips which is a gorgeous sheer deep plum shade.
