Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar waters are one of my favourite products to remove my makeup with, second to Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Over the past couple of months I have been testing out so many micellar waters and trying to find which ones are the best. The Simple Cleansing Micellar Water has been a must have in my evening skincare routine.
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water
This micellar water from Simple is one of the best cleansing waters on the high street in my opinion. I was just a big fan of the Garnier Micellar Water, like everybody and their mother, but I think this one from Simple tops it! This micellar water has a blend of multi-vitamins, skin loving ingredients and gentle cleansers to cleanse the skin while removing makeup and leaving the skin feeling hydrated and fresh. Like all of the Simple skincare range, this is good for sensitive skin and all skin types.

To apply this micellar water I pop a small amount onto cotton pads then sweep all over my face and take one for each eye. This removes my makeup so effortlessly and doesn't leave behind any traces of makeup. What I really like about this is that it doesn't sting my eyes, with many of the other micellar waters that I had been using I noticed that they slightly stung my eyes but I had no issues with this one from Simple. Another great thing about this is that it does actually leave the skin feeling hydrated. With the Garnier one for example it would leave my skin feeling uncomfortable and needing to have a serum and moisturiser applied almost instantly after using it. But with this one it always leaves my skin feeling hydrated.

I tend to wear quite a few layers of mascara and sometimes waterproof versions and this micellar water removed every trace. If you are looking for a new micellar water to try I highly recommend his one. It is one of the more affordable options and definitely gives Bioderma a run for its money.

The Simple Micellar Water retails for £4.19 and is available from Superdrug, Boots and Tesco as well as many other retailers. I have actually picked up a few bottles of this as it was just £1.99 in Tesco so keep an eye out for that, such a bargain!
