January 2016 Favourites

I am so happy to see the end of January - its been a loooong month! I have lots of new favourite products this month because I got some great beauty bits for Christmas and picked up some products for myself and I am yet to be disappointed with anything. All but one of the products are new (to me at least) which I have been using non stop over the last month, I have found some good gems here.

Spot the blu tack fail, opps!
My first favourite has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. This was actually my products of the week a few weeks ago so if you want to hear my full thoughts check out that post - link. This is one of the best foundations I have ever used and I will 99.9% repurchase it. It gives me a medium to full coverage and covers up everything - blemishes and redness are gone! What I really like about this foundation is that it doesn't feel or look heavy on the skin, it has a very natural finish and just looks like your skin but better. Another base favourite this month is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. Although I hauled this just a week or so ago, I have actually had my MAC products since just before new year. I have struggled to find a good concealer for my under eyes. I have tried everything from the NARS Radiant Creamy to the Collection Lasting Perfection, neither of which worked any magic for me under my eyes. This concealer covers everything brilliantly but doesn't cake up on the skin or disappear throughout the day. The main reason why I love this so much, besides the coverage, is that it doesn't crease on me - hooray! Every single concealer I have tried as always creased under my eyes but Pro Longwear never does.

I have two lip favourites this month and both are completely different shades. My first lip favourite is from MAC and is the Lipstick in Syrup. I picked this up in my recent MAC haul (link here) and I have pretty much worn this everyday since. This shade is my lips but better and lasts for hours on the lips. The reason I picked this up was because Nicole (Young Wild & Polished on YouTube) is always talking about this on her Snapchat so she enabled me -  thanks Nicole!! My second lip favourite this month is the Fleur de Force Lipgloss in Starry Starry Night. This is one of the best lip gloss formulas ever. It doesn't leave the lips feeling sticky in the slightest and gives the colour pay off of a intensive lipstick, it smells incredible too! What I really like about this lip gloss is that when it does start to fade away, it leaves a tint behind on the lips so you don't have to worry about rushing to reapply it.

It's no secret how much I love Colourpop and as soon as the liners were released I placed an order straight away. I have been wearing the Get Paid Creme Gel Liner most days this month. It is a stunning rose gold metallic shade and once I apply it, it does not budge until I remove it! I have never had any liners with a metallic finish like this and the quality is excellent for the price - only $5! I like to wear this smudged out on my lower lash line for a pop of colour. My final favourite this month is the Essence Silky Touch Blush in Babydoll, I did a whole blog post about this with swatches if you want to read more - link. This has been my go to blush as it goes with any lip colour or eye look. I was really shocked at how pigmented these blushes are and totally impressed with it only being £2.50! It is such a lovely pink shade and with a light hand it gives the cheeks a lovely pink glow.

What were your favourites this month?
