Soap & Glory Highlight and Sculpt Cheek Sticks + Swatches

There are tonnes of new releases coming to the makeup range from Soap and Glory and the Highlight and Sculpt Cheek Sticks are going to be a great addition! I have always been a little scared of cream based products, I always thought they were difficult to apply but I was wrong about these. I know I am going to use these so much during the summer too!

Swatched: Ice Shimmer, Pink, Pop & Pearl, Sundaze.

There are three different shades currently, a highlight, blush and bronze shade. All three of the shades a cream stick with some shimmer running through. I have heard some buzz about these being dupes for the NARS multiples but I don't actually own those so I am unable to compare but if you do try them and have the NARS ones please let me know if they are similar! I have been playing around with these for a couple of weeks now and I have been really enjoying them. One thing I will mention with these sticks is to not leave them in your makeup bag as the caps are slightly loose and may end up coming off in your makeup bag, getting the product all over the contents of your makeup bag.

Each shade comes in a twist up tube with 14.4g of product. Ice Shimmer is the highlight shade which I would describe as a light champagne shade which will give the cheek bones, or where ever you want to highlight, a glow. If you paired it with a powder highlight it would be a match made in heaven. While it does have glitter in it, it doesn't make the cheek bones look glittery, it just adds radiance and glow. Pink, Pop & Pearl is the blush shade which is my favourite out of the three. It is a lovely rosy pink with some gold shimmer running through it which is my favourite type of blush colour! It reminds me of NARS Orgasm but slightly pinker. Sundaze is the third shade which is a bronzer. It is quite warmed toned and too dark for me at the moment but I think in the Summer months it will be perfect! I do think this would would great as a blush too, especially if you have a slightly darker skin tone than I do.

I find it best to dab them onto the areas which you want to apply them and then blend them out with a fluffy brush. They are well pigmented but if you apply them lightly and build up the colour I don't think you will have any issues. Each of the sticks has illuminating radiance pearls to give you a wonderful but sheer luminous finish. I think these are going to be my go to products in the Summer when I don't want too much product on my face but I want a glow.

The Soap and Glory Highlight & Sculpt Sticks retail for £8 each and are available at Boots - link
