Yankee Candle Tangerine and Vanilla Review

I popped to ASDA last week and spotted that there was a few new scents to the Yankee Candle Simply Home range and I knew I had to pick up Tangerine and Vanilla in the wax melt form. I have been so impressed by this wax melt and I need to go back to ASDA and pick up at least 5 more because it has become one of my favourite scents from Yankee Candle.

If you haven't come across the Simply Home range from Yankee Candle before, I believe it is available in supermarkets, I have spotted it in larger Tesco and ASDA stores. You get the same amazing quality as you do with the original Yankee Candle line but at a slightly cheaper price. The wax tarts from the original Yankee Candle line are usually £1.49 whereas the Simply Home ones are only £1! I always go for the wax melts as they still provide you with a great scent kick off and I can get more scent variations for your money.

This scent is described as ripe tangerine with a hint of sweet vanilla, strong and delicious which will meet you when you enter a room. If you aren't a fan of wax melts, this scent is also available in a sampler size and in two jar sizes. The name of the scent is definitely what it smells like, it is delicious and strong enough to fill your whole home with fragrance. The hint of vanilla makes it a perfect mixture of fruity and sweet which are my favourite type of scents. Each wax tart aims to provide you with eight hours of home fragrance.

This tiny little wax melt made the whole house smell delicious for much longer than the eight hours which are recommended! I find with some tarts from the Simply Home range that you with either get tonnes of hours out of a wax melt or hardly any so Tangerine and Vanilla was definitely a hit! Even though the scent kick off it strong, it isn't over powering and it doesn't give me a headache. This scent would be perfect for larger areas as it would fill it with fragrance amazingly well and would still linger out into the rest of the house. I am so impressed with the scent kick off and the scent has come one of my favourites for Spring from the Simply Home range. If you like fruity and sweet scents, you will love Tangerine and Vanilla.
