Top Five Under £5

I must admit that recently I have found myself reaching for higher end options and forgetting about the hidden gems which are a total bargain! My bank balance can't take much more of my expensive purchases so I have been looking more and more at high street products. There are some incredible products on the high street which are better than a few products I have tried from the beauty counters.

Everybody and their Mum loves the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) for a good reason, it is an incredible concealer, although it is very hard to track down in the lightest shade from my experience. This concealer has extreme coverage and lasts pretty well on the skin. I prefer to use it on blemishes rather than under my eyes as it can sometimes crease. If you struggle to hide your blemishes or any discolouration, you need to give this concealer a try. I keep this in my handbag for touch ups on the go.

I wear winged liner everyday and I had been using the same liner for over a year which while it still is one of my best liners, the Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen (£2.80) is brilliant. It has a felt tip which I find so easy to use, they are pretty much fool proof! As the nib is so small, it makes it so simply and quick to create a wing! The liner it very black and lasts all day and I have been caught in the rain a few times when I have used this and it has budged! You can find all Essence products in Wilko.

Makeup Revolution is my favourite budget brand, I would have included the Pressed Powder (£2) but I rave about that so much I thought I would pick something different! The Goddess of Love Highlighter (£4.99) is a gorgeous gold shade highlight which applies beautifully to the cheek bones. I have quite pale skin so I find some highlighters can look a little too intense but this one is perfect. I like to apply it with the Zoeva 132 Luxe Powder Finish, however this brush isn't under £5 but it is fantastic for applying powder highlight.

The Soap and Glory Matte/Gloss Sticks (£3.50 each) are my favourite lip products from the high street. They are the perfect size for your handbag and come in many different shades. I love the gloss sticks and there is always at least one in my handbag. The matte ones are a newer release from the brand and feel so comfortable on the lips and are very long lasting. My favourite shades of the sticks are Pinkfetti and Pretty Muted.

Of course I had to include the Barry M Nail Polishes (£3.99), they are the best from the high street in my opinion. My favourite lines from Barry M are either the Speedy Quick Dry or the Gelly Hi Shine. I recently picked up three new gorgeous shades, from the Speedy range I picked up Supersonic and from the Gelly range I picked up Cream Soda and Pink Lemonade. Both formulas apply very smoothly onto the nails and with some shades you only need one coat. The gelly range are slightly glossier than the Speedy ones but the Speedy ones dry almost instantly and last for around five days on my nails without base and top coat.
