Sleek Control Shine & Prime

I love trying new primers as they can make your makeup look and last so much longer depending on the one you choose. Sleek is an affordable brand which is available in Boots and Superdrug, I love trying out primers which help minimise the appearance of pores so I was excited to try out the Control Shine & Prime
Sleek Control Shine & Prime
The Sleek Control Shine & Prime can be used as a primer before makeup or can be worn alone. It is suitable for all skin types and it is going to help control oil for an all day matte finish. While minimising the appearance of pores and create a great base for makeup. There aren't many budget primers which actually make a difference on my skin but I have been really enjoying the results since using this everyday. Sleek do not test on animals which I love as I have two gorgeous baby bunnies.

I have been using this to apply before my foundation to help prolong my makeup and help hide my pores. I apply it to my whole face, paying extra attention to my chin, centre of my forehead and the cheeks were my pores are usually very visible. I have been a long time fan of Benefit Porefessional but always found it to be too expensive for me to keep repurchasing it time and time again. This primer from Sleek is very similar to the Benefit version in that it does an amazing job at minimising my pores, it creates a smooth finish to the skin so my foundation glides over my pores. But this primer actually makes a difference in how my makeup wears throughout the day. Each time I have used this my makeup has lasted so much longer and my face stayed oil and shine free!

I don't usually have very oily skin but recently I have noticed in my T zone that it gets extremely oily throughout the day but this makes my whole face stay shine free. I would usually touch up multiple times during the day with powder but when I use this primer I hardly needed too, I just add a little powder before heading out in the afternoon and I am good to go! The only downside to this primer is that it is only 15ml, if this was made in a bigger size I would be so happy but I still definitely repurchase this after I run out. Even though it is only 15ml as a little goes a long say so you wouldn't run out too quickly.

If you are looking for a budget primer definitely check this out next time your beauty shopping! The Sleek Control Shine & Prime retails for £7.99 - HERE
