Soap and Glory Kick Ass All is Calm Stick

One of my main struggles with my skin, besides acne, is redness. I have tried the highest coverage foundations and so many green based products to try and counteract it but the redness always peeks through my foundation and concealer. When I spotted the new Kick Ass Face Sticks from Soap and Glory I knew I had to get my hands on All is Calm to see if it would help with my redness. I also picked up the Super-Blur option which I have been loving - full review here. 

The Soap and Glory Kick Ass All is Calm Stick has blemish hiding technology to conceal the appearance of redness with added aloe vera extract to help soothe the skin. To use this product I have been applying it underneath my foundation and concealer after priming my face to make sure that I don't look like the Hulk throughout the day! As the product is in a stick form you can sweep it into the areas of the face you want to camouflage redness and blend it out with your fingers or a brush, I prefer to use a brush. 

I have been using this for over a month now and I have been so impressed! I have so much redness on my chin and around my nose which no concealer can cover. So I have been using this before my concealer and it evens out my skin tone and makes all of my redness undetectable. Once I have applied it to the selected areas, it blends out really easily and doesn't leave a bright green tint to the skin, it looks more like my skin tone but it could never be used on its own because it still is green and I would look slightly ill. I find that it doesn't interfere with how my foundation applies or wears throughout the day but I do have to use a slightly lighter foundation with it because I found my heavier foundations will cake throughout the day in the areas which I have applied the stick too. 

What I really like about this stick is that my redness stays camouflaged for almost all of the day as long as I set my foundation well and don't rub at my face! The redness on my skin and around blemishes is very intense but this has been doing such a great job at covering it all. A little goes a long way with this so it is going to last me quite a while before I need to repurchase this. If you have a lot of redness I would definitely recommend giving this a try because it has been wonderful for me!
