The Body Oil the Kardashians Use // Bio-Oil Review

If the Kardashians are using Bio Oil, so will I! I love the Kardashians and I am always interested in finding out their beauty secrets. Kim, Khloe and Kylie have all said either in interviews or on Snapchat that they swear my Bio Oil and use it everyday. I have been putting it to the test for the past couple of weeks to see if I can get my skin looking great for the upcoming Summer.
Bio-Oil Review
Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare oil which can be used on so many different things. The most common use that I have heard of is using it during pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks. It can also be used on scarring, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. The oil is suitable for sensitive skin and has a non greasy formula which will rapidly absorb into the skin. It contains the breakthrough ingredient of PurCellin Oil with Vitamin A & E as well as Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile Oils.

From what I have read online and seen on Kylie's snapchat, the Kardashians use this all over the body to keep the skin hydrated as part of their evening routine. I have been using this on many areas which are dehydrated such as my legs, ankles, and elbows. I also have a few stretch marks on the tops of my thighs which I hate so I was interested to see if this would help make them disappear! I am pleased to report that my skin has never been better! My legs and ankles in particular tend to get neglected as I always forget to moisturise them regularly. But since using this as often as I remember my skin is incredibly soft and all of my dry flakey patches had cleared up within a couple of uses. The stretch marks I had have gone down so much, I think with a few more weeks of use they will be completely gone!

The oil itself does sink into the skin really quickly but you can feel it on the skin while it isn't at all greasy. I prefer to use this at night so that I don't have to worry about it getting on my clothing during the day. I am going to start testing it out on my acne scarring and general discolouration on my face soon to see if it makes any difference as I have heard great things about using it on the face - I will report back!

Bio Oil is available at Superdrug with prices starting at £8.99 - HERE

  2. I used to use this all the time when I was a teenager. I had horrendous stretch marks and chicken pox scars but this worked so well at getting rid of them. Can't recommend it enough!

  3. What a fantastic review, I would never have thought to use this all over the body but it's garnered such amazing results for you, I am going to have to try it out myself! Thanks for sharing, I am a little bit obsessed with the Kardashians myself, mostly their makeup tbh.

  8. Aah I have happy memories of Bio Oil that I bought during my first pregnancy. I haven't got any stretch marks but have since found out that it is more than likely hereditary. Still lovely oil to use though.

  15. Ok it's settled. I need to go get myself some bio oil and slather it on!! Good to know it sinks in quickly. I think that is what has always put me off using it. I always thought I'd be left a bit of a greasy mess!
