Top Three Skincare Products

Skincare products can be very hit or miss with my skin as I find it a struggle to find the perfect combination of products that are going to keep my acne at bay while keeping my skin extra hydrated as in some areas it is very dry. These three products are holy grails in my collection and have changed my skin for the better so please brands, never discontinue them!
Top Three Skincare Products
At 22 years old, my acne has been the worst it has been recently and I have no idea why it has got so bad. La Roche Posay products are saving my skin at the moment and I need to try a few more from the brand as I am yet to be disappointed by them! The product that has made the biggest difference to my skin is the Effaclar Duo+ (and the whole Effaclar range in general). I have raved about this product so many times and I don't think I will ever stop as it is the only product I have tried which gets rid of my acne as well as the scarring. I use this every evening when my skin is having a problematic spell and each morning I noticed my skin getting better and better. What I really like about this product is that it doesn't dry my skin out in the slightest.

The other product I love from La Roche Posay is Serozinc which I started using towards the end of last year. Some people say this doesn't work but I use this each morning and it makes a huge difference to my skin. This helps maintain my oily skin throughout the day and soothes the skin while targeting my breakouts. My face gets quite shiny throughout the day but when I use this I notice it doesn't get half as shiny and when it does I will mist this over my makeup and my makeup looks good again. If you suffer from oily skin, you need this in your skincare routine, they even do a mini size now for around £4 so it isn't going to break the bank.

Of course I had to mention Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. This is the cleanser I have used pretty much every single evening to remove my makeup for the past 3-4 years. When I started using this my skin was horrendous, extremely oily and full of acne but it completely changed my skin for the better! Within a couple of months my skin had done a full 360 and was better than ever and hasn't been half as oily since! No cleanser will ever come close to this and I would love to know how many bottles I have gone through, it must be at least 20 by now! This cleanser removes my makeup so easily and doesn't irritate my eyes in the slightest. I also like to use this as a mask every now and again and leave it on for 5-7 minutes.

What are your top three skincare products?

  1. I bought Serozinc in Paris a couple of years ago and I've only just started using it properly. As someone who suffers from breakouts and oily skin, it's a lifesaver!

  8. I'm always so baffled when people love the Liz Earle cleanser as I just couldln't get on with it. It makes me a bit disappointed that I didn't because people LOVE IT and I feel like I'm missing out, but for me it just didn't make me feel like my face was clean!
