Divine Chocolate

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of chocolate - am I right? Divine Chocolate is a brand that I first tried from one of my Degustaboxes and I fell in love with the stuff! So I have been trying out a few of the different bars from Divine Chocolate and I definitely have a favourite which I may or may not have eaten in about 20 seconds - opps!

What I really like about Divine is that they are the only Fair-trade chocolate company which is 44% owned by cocoa farmers. By using fair-trade ingredients the farmers receive a better deal from their crops and have additional income to invest in their community. Divine have a whole range of different types of chocolate bars available so you are bound to find one you will love - I have my eyes on the White Chocolate Bar next!

The Dark Chocolate Bar with Caramel was delicious and I am not usually a fan of dark chocolate (I am a firm lover of any type of milk chocolate). This bar is a smooth dark chocolate which is bursting with a soft caramel filling. These bars have the perfect amount of caramel to dark chocolate so you get the best taste of each flavour. The caramel is slightly thicker in these bars (as well as in the milk chocolate) which I like. My favourite was the Milk Chocolate Bars with Carmel. These are pretty much the same as the dark chocolate version but they are made with milk chocolate instead. The milk chocolate is incredibly smooth and creamy and I may or may not have eaten both bars as soon as I had photographed them...

The Dark Chocolate with Almonds and Raisins is a completely different type of chocolate than what I would usually go for as I like to keep it simple with my chocolate. But I was really surprised at how much I like this, even though I do hate raisins! This bar is made of a rich and velvety dark chocolate with chipped almonds and juicy raisins. This bar is bigger than the others so I took a few chucks at a time to have a with a cup of tea in the afternoon as a little treat.

The Divine Chocolate is available from their website - HERE.
