Iconic London Complete 9 Piece Face Set

Iconic London is a fairly new brand to me and I have been so impressed with everything I have tried so far, you might have seen my brush favourites on Ree's site - link here. I have been loving this Complete 9 Piece Face Set and using the brushes pretty much every day since. If you are looking for a new brush set, this face set is for you!

All of the brushes in this collection are specifically designed for the face and more! As there is nine brushes in this set there is a brush for every use from foundation application to bronzer and contour. These are some of the prettiest brushes in my collection with white handles and lilac/rose gold ferrule, the only issue I have this these brushes is that it doesn't have the brush name on the handle just Iconic London but this is only a small issue. All of the nine brushes come complete in a gorgeous lilac makeup bag which I will definitely use when I go on holiday. All of the brushes are made up of synthetic fibres making them vegan friendly - hooray!

In the set is the Buffer for blending foundation, Large Angle Contour for all of your contouring needs,  Angled Blush Brush for applying blush to the apples of the cheeks, Powder brush for setting powdered highlight, Flat Foundation brush for all of your basic foundation application needs, Fluffy Tapered brush for applying powder to the high planes of the face, Concealer Blending brush for precise concealer application, Fan brush for highlighting the highpoints of the face and finally another Powder brush for applying blush to the cheeks or applying power for a medium coverage. All of the brushes are incredibly soft and I have washed them a few times and they have held their shape well and I have experienced no shedding.

My favourite brushes from this set are the Fan Brush, Large Angled Contour Brush and smaller Powder Brush and I actually use all three of these brushes differently than it is recommended and I have been loving them! I have been actually using the Fan Brush to apply bronzer to the face and even to lightly contour the cheeks. It helps warm up the skin perfectly without making the skin look too dark. The Large Angled Contour is the brush I have been using for my slightly thicker foundations and it gives the skin a medium to full coverage and it makes applying my foundation so quick. The Powder Brush is actually what I have been using to blend out my concealer under my eyes as it still provides great coverage but it leaves the skin looking and feeling lightweight.

This brush set is £59.99 and when you consider that you get nine brushes that makes each brush around £6 each which is a complete bargain (and that is without the makeup bag)! The Iconic London Complete 9 Piece Face Set is available from the Iconic London website - HERE.
