Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation

When it comes to foundations I am extremely picky! There are only a couple of foundations which I would class as being a must have in my makeup bag and this new one from Vichy has reached that status. The reason I am so picky is because I like a full coverage with it leaving the skin feeling lightweight and not being cakey, the only other foundations I like besides this is the original Vichy Dermablend foundation as well as the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - if you know of any foundations I might like please let me know!
Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation
The Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation is one of the best foundations I have tried in a while! It aims to smooth the skins surface to minimise the appearance of any 3D imperfections. This foundation is aimed towards acne prone skin and will cover everything (and I mean everything), help control oil in just one layer. What's different about this foundation is that it has properties to make the skin look smoother which is great for us acne prone girls, I have very bumpy skin in areas and this foundation has changed the game.

This is honestly the best foundation for acne prone skin if like me you have struggled to cover the acne without making the skin look extremely cakey, you'll love this. As I mentioned my skin is very bumpy, especially on my chin but when I use this foundation the texture of my skin looks so smooth and you can't see a single blemish. The tiniest amount of this foundation goes a long way and as I am buffing it into the skin I can see my acne disappearing and my skin looking better and better. It also glides over pores and covers them, throughout the day it doesn't settle into lines either.

This foundation is also extremely long wearing, it claims to last up to 16 hours but I never have my makeup on for that long but it definitely holds up until the end of the day without budging! It keeps my skin matte all day and I would have to touch up multiple times a day with powder with any other foundation but with this I don't have to worry. It feels extremely lightweight on the skin, it is pretty much undetectable and has a very natural finish - it looks like my skin but better. It wears so well throughout the day as it doesn't break up on the skin or cake up, at the end of the day my foundation still looks as if I had applied it.

This foundation is available in five shades, I use 15 Opal which has SPF 25, I am so happy this foundation has an SPF in as I don't have to worry as much about sun damage. Opal is the lightest shade available which still matches me well with my pale skin. It also has skincare ingredients enriched within the foundation such as salicylic acid and eperulin. My verdict - you need this foundation in your life if you have acne prone skin!
