Skincare on Trial

You might have seen my recent skincare haul so I thought I would do a little update on how I am finding the products so far. I have been using these four products for the past couple of weeks and I have been really impressed - my skin is the clearest it has ever been and some of these products are incredibly affordable.
Skincare on Trial
I have been trying out a couple of the Clinique skincare products from the BBB Latest in Beauty Clinque Box and I have been incredibly impressed with the Dramatically Different Moisturiser - it has become my favourite skincare product from the box so far! I have been using this mostly in the evening but it is slowly working its way into my morning routine as it keeps my skin super hydrated. It sinks in very quickly and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or oily. It has made a huge difference in the hydration of my skin and it has cleared up any of the dry patches I had previously and my skin has never been softer!

I am a huge fan of Simple Skincare so I couldn't wait to start using the Deep Cleansing Face Mask. I have been using this a couple of times a week and my skin has never been clearer. I find that this is great to pull out any of the dirt and impurities in the skin to help minimise my breakouts and keep my skin cleaner than ever. This mask only neds to be on for around 5 minutes, if you have dry skin you can still use this mask but it is recommended to be used only once a week. Another product I have been using in combination with this to help mininise my breakouts is the Superdrug Tea Tree Oil. My breakouts had been the worst that they had been in years so I thought it was time to bring back a trusty product in my skincare routine, Tree Trea Oil never fails me. I have been using this whenever I notice a new breakout and by the next morning it has disappeared - I can't recommend this enough, the best £2 I have ever spent!

The final product I have been testing out is the Pixi Glow Tonic - doesn't everybody love this?! I am now a huge fan I must admit, I definitely understand what all the hype is about. I have been using this most evenings before moisturiser and every single morning I wake up with the best skin I have ever had! It makes my skin incredibly soft due to the exfoliating elements and my skin always looks even while adding radiance and making my skin appear clearer. This has also made a big difference in the redness I have noticed as even morning I wake up to no redness.

What are your favourite skincare products at the moment?

  4. I've been eating crap for the last few months so I'm struggling with my skin, but I'm mostly keeping the breakouts at bay with my Vichy Normaderm kit - it's been my favourite for years and I've been loathed to change it, however I'm going more for a natural way now... I hate simple stuff, but might give Pixi a try...

  10. Wow. So glad to hear that these products have worked for you and that you're on your way to having the kind of skin you want. I'm still working on mine, too. I'm on the verge of finishing the ones I'm currently using, so I'm definitely taking notes from you for my next purchase.
