Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Foundation

I have been loving Elizabeth Arden products this year and I couldn't wait to try out this foundation from the brand. Although it is an anti-aging foundation and I am only 22 it is never too early to start taking good care of your skin so I was interested to see how this would work on my skin.

This is the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Foundation with SPF 30. This is an oil free foundation which has a natural smooth yet radiant finish with light to medium coverage. This foundation is infused with a potent antioxidant Idebenone Complex and a host of anti-aging ingredients to glide effortlessly onto the skin and blend seamlessly to help blur imperfections while evening out the skin tone. It is also going to help lock in moisture while providing long wear colour with skin smoothing properties. It is going to work to dimish the signs of aging day after day and repair the skins appearance to promote a younger looking complexion.

This foundation is available in eight shades and I have Shade 2 which is a good match for my lighter skin tone which has a tiny hint of tan from the summer months! This foundation is my go to for good skin days as it has a much lighter coverage than I am used to. Even though it does have lighter coverage, it does a good job at smoothing out my skin tone and helping hide smaller imperfections, blemishes and it is great for my discolouration. To apply this foundation, I like to use a damp beauty blender as this is the best tool to get an even and as flawless coverage possible and appearance to the skin.

It is a very comfortable foundation to wear and I found that it does hold up pretty well throughout the day but I did need to touch up with powder in the late afternoon as my T-Zone is very oily sometimes, I have to do this with almost every foundation so it's not a deal breaker. As it is an anti-ageing foundation, I found it to be very smoothing over any texture on my skin so this would be brilliant for slightly maturer skin or if you have a lot of texture. It has been great at helping keep my skin hydrated throughout the day as well.
