I have been on a foundation kick in the past couple of weeks and I have been loving trying out new ones. I had been wanting to get my hands on a cushion foundation for the longest time so I was super excited to try out this new release from Lancome and it didn't disappoint!
This is the brand new foundation from Lancome which is a cushion foundation. This compact foundation claims to be a long wearing foundation with a high coverage finish. As it is in a compact, it is refillable so once you finish the foundation you can repurchase the foundation for slightly cheaper to save a few pounds by reusing your original compact. This foundation aims to be fresh and comfortable on the skin and is currently available in nine different shades.
I am the third shade in this gorgeous foundation, 015 Ivoire and I will definitely need to get a lighter shade for the colder months as it just about matches my skin with my tan that I have got naturally over the summer months. The foundation comes with a puff applicator which I find best to use with this foundation to apply the product directly to the face and then I like to go in either with a brush or a beauty blender to distribute the foundation to the whole of my face.
By using the puff and a beauty blender it gives the skin such high coverage which is perfect for my acne prone skin. When I use this foundation, the only place I have to go in with concealer after is under my eyes to brighten, this is incredible for me as my skin is pretty bad and I almost always need a tonne of concealer! This is a very long lasting product and once it has been applied to my skin, I don't have to worry about having to reapply at all throughout the day. What I love about this foundation is that even though it has just amazing coverage, it is so lightweight on the skin and doesn't cake up throughout the day.
This is the one foundation you have to try if you are on the hunt for high coverage and a lightweight natural looking finish. The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation retails for £30 - HERE.
