Lancome x Sonia Rykiel Favourites

I have been really enjoying Lancome products in the past couple of months and the Sonia Rykiel collaboration is such a fun collection. I personally hadn't heard of Sonia Rykiel but I am glad Lancome has introduced me as now I love the stuff! These two products are from the Fall Makeup Collection.

All of the products in this collaboration have such fun and cute packaging. Some products some in boxes with a striped colour block design and others have a gorgeous little illustrations on them, even one of the products has the actual design on the pencil which made me happy! I have been playing around with these two products for a couple of weeks now and I must say that I am very impressed and surprised by these products as I have nothing like them in my collection and I will explain why!

The Parisian Lip Crayon Duo is available in four different shade options and I have A02 Parisian Spirt which has two pink shades. The reason why I don't have anything like this in my collection is because it is a wooden crayon style product which has a matte shade on one end and a translucent balm on the other. This product is going to create a blurred effect on the lips and you can either use the two products together or separately if you choose. The matte shade is very creamy and easy to apply on the lips and is well pigmented, the translucent side adds a sheer amount of colour to the lips and a thick balm feeling to the lips with subtle shine.

I was surprised that I liked these products and that they were easy to apply as they are in a wooden crayon which I sometimes find not to be the best products but Lancome have done it right! The matte shade is much longer lasting on the lips which I expected but I also like to top up the matte shade throughout the day with the balm for a little-added hydration.

I have been on a quest to find the best white nail polish on the market and I never thought to check with Lancome but it was obsession at first swatch! The four nail polish shades in this collection have been inspired by the 60s and M11 Cafe Blanc is by far the best white nail polish I have tried. Usually, with white nail polishes they are extremely streaky and need at least three coats to get even pigmentation. With this nail polish I need one coat - the swatch is just one coat to show you how incredibly pigmented this nail polish is!

This is a stunning bright white nail polish that dried fairly quickly and lasted on my nails for a couple of days before chipping, I am very heavy handed and clumsy so I was happy with this. Not to mention that my nails aren't in good condition either and I didn't use base or top coat so I can't wait to see how long it will last with those.
