Rimmel London Scandaleyes Liners & Mascara

Everybody seems to be loving these products at the moment and I am a little on the fence. While they are good products, I am not sure if they are as fantastic as everyone is making out, this is just my person opinion. I am very fussy when it comes to lashes and liner so I am a very tough critic!

The Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara is available in two different shades of black, Black and Extreme Black. I always prefer the 'blacker' versions as I like my lashes to look intense. This mascara claims to provide extreme volume and wear with up to 24 hours and can easily be removed with water. I have used this a couple of times on my upper lashes and it just didn't give me the results that I wanted so I started using it on my bottom lashes and I do really like it for this use. It coats the lashes well without making them look clumpy and it doesn't transfer onto the skin.

The brush is very standard looking and does coat all of the lashes on the upper and lower lash line well. It didn't make my lashes have that crunchy feeling either. It did wear very well throughout the day and still looked as if I had just applied it late in the evening. I would have to agree with the easy to remove claim as it removed with minimal effort with my Makeup Eraser which is just a cloth used with warm water. I like my lashes to be incredibly long and thickened which is probably why I wasn't too much of a fan but if you like a tonne of volume, you will probably be a huge fan of this mascara.

I am a daily winged liner wearer/obsessive so I am always on the hunt for new and exciting products to create that perfect wing. The Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner in Black, I found a little hard to use because I just couldn't get the hang of it but I am prepared to try it again soon when I have a little more time to experiment. The Scandaleyes Micro Liner is much easier to use than the Thick and Thin version once I got the hang of it. It has an incredibly fine tip making it easy to apply but it isn't a super saturated tip so it does take some time to build up the colour on the eye line. The Micro Liner is a good affordable option as it applies pretty opaquely but you do need to go over it a couple of times to achieve this.

I do have two tiny issues with this liner but it hasn't stopped me using it. The first is that very now and again. once I have applied it and I curl my lashes before applying mascara, it disappears from my lash line and I have to reapply. The other issue is that while it applies black, towards the end of the day it gets much lighter on me and tends slightly grey toned and when I apply my makeup at half 5 in the morning and am out all day for work, this is a bit of an issue.

Do I hate these products? No. Would I repurchase? Possibly, but only the micro liner as it is a decent liner but I have had others that I prefer but again I haven't stopped using it because of the issues I had with it. If you tried these products, please let me know what you think.
