Annika is a nail polish brand I was introduced to a few months ago and I do really like their nail polishes, and that says something as I am quite fussy! This selection of products is perfect to get your nails all festive and ready for Christmas from festive favourite shades and cute snowflake stickers and glitter!
Swatched: White Swan, Glass Slipper, Romance and Gold Sparkle
These four nail polishes are perfect for the holiday season and I have already started wearing them, if you follow me on Twitter I have basically been in Christmas mode since the middle of September and I have no shame about it! Each of the four shades comes complete with a great sized brush to make application a little easier, it isn't overly wide which I like as I find if it is too wide I end up with a messy paint job! One of the main reasons why I love Annika nail polish is because they dry fairly quickly, there is nothing I dislike more than nail polish that takes hours to dry! The four shades I have are:
- White Swan is a cream white
- Glass Slipper is a clear based polish with pastel glitters
- Romance is a blue toned red
- Gold Sparkle is a yellow/gold metallic almost glitter polish
All of these nail polishes apply smoothly without any bubbling, Romance only needed two thin coats to achieve the colour in the bottle but White Swan did need three coats to make sure it didn't appear streaky in the daylight. Gold Sparkle looks gorgeous with one thin coat but if you do want to achieve the colour and intensity you see in the bottle, you will need to apply a few coats to achieve this. Glass Slipper can be applied using a 'dabbing' motion to get even more glitter on the nail. All four of these nail polishes have a glossy finish to them once dried.

These are so easy to use, I all do it peel one off and pop it onto a dried nail and then apply clear nail polish over the top to make sure it doesn't move around or come off after a day or two - they have other designs available too if these aren't for you.
